Wedge Wire Screen Mesh Used in Sand Mill

In modern industry, sand mills are used for fine grinding and dispersion of materials. The particle size and material of the grinding medium vary depending on the type of material to be ground. 
Many industries, such as coatings, inks, pesticides, dyes, etc., use sand mills. Especially the titanium dioxide in the coatings industry and carbon black used as pigments are most commonly 
ground and dispersed using a sand mill.
Through the collision, shearing and friction between the high-speed rotating grinding media and the materials, the sand mill reduces the particles to the micron or even nanometer level. 
After the grinding process, the material enter the screening stage. The refined materials flow out through the wedge-shaped wire screen on the separation device. 
Particles that do not meet the size requirements will continue to be recycled for grinding until they also flow out from the wedge wire screen.
The wedge wire screen is a key component of the separation device. The wedge wire screen is a sieve screen cylinder formed by welding V-shaped wires and support rod with V-shape or square shape.
It has two structures: internal flow type and external flow type. The size of the wedge wire screen sieve can be customized according to the size of the separation device.
The wedge wire screen sieve has high separation gap accuracy and large flow rate. The V-shaped gap can be backwashed and is not easy to be clogging. 
The material is mostly made by stainless steel 316L, which is more corrosion-resistant, acid and alkali-resistant, it can meet the working conditions of the grinding machine sieve well and got good feedback from the market.
